In this Olympic finals atmosphere and as we prepare for the Paralympics, let’s dive into Japanese culture and learn a bit about the Tokyo Olympic venues.
The Olympic Village features 21 buildings spread over 440,000 square meters. It has an incredible design and was architected to be sustainable, with structures made of recyclable cardboard, such as the beds.
The plaza was made using 40,000 pieces of wood donated by 63 Japanese municipal governments, which will be dismantled and returned to them afterward. After the events end, the Village will be transformed into a luxury residential neighborhood.
